PLU Community Garden Fence Painting

When: October 6, 2007, from 10am - 5pm

Each residence hall has been requested to paint a 10x10 foot section of fence for the community garden, located across 121st St. from Ingram Hall (about a minute away for us). We are currently looking for volunteers to perform this public service. Speak with Michelle Davis for information on how to get involved!

Powderpuff Football/Powerbuff Volleyball

When: October 9th, 4pm at Foss Field/October 10th, 10pm in the Olson Gym

It's Homecoming time, children! In keeping with hoaky mainland tradition, we're having an all-girl game of football and an all-male game of volleyball (because volleyball is for girls, right?...) to commemorate this occasion. If you want to get involved/make a fool of yourself in front of a festival audience, speak with Nick Gysberg or Ryan Donaldson (they'll be in the Living Room playing Halo 3).

Songfest

When: Thursday, October 11

More Homecoming festivities! This year's theme for Songfest is "PLU Through the Decades," and we've been grouped with Off-Campus and Hong (correct me if I'm wrong RHC) for the 1970s. So if you've a penchant for The Bee Gees and David Bowie...or even better, if you know somebody who went here in the seventies and STILL likes The Bee Gees and David Bowie...talk to Luke or Vy.

Stuen Hall Halloween Party

When: Saturday, October 27, 2007

"Everybody else is doing it, so why can't we?" I'm not entirely sure what all this will entail, but there will probably be outlandish costumes, copious amounts of candy, and a $5 head charge on all non-Stuen residents. No, seriously, your T-Stad friends are paying to get into our elitist Upper Campus party.

Tye-Dye Party

Stuen will supply the dye if you supply a white t-shirt...a date for this will be set next Sunday if enough people still show interest. Have fun with your shirts, hippies.

Stuen Hall Retreat

When: February?

It turns out that facilities are PACKED for the next several months, and our retreat is for all intents and purposes indefinately postponed. It SHALL come to pass, but we're going to have to do inter-hall bonding right here at home for a while until we get there. President Nick (doesn't that sound WAY too official?) will keep us informed.

Animal Half-Hours

Animal Half-hours are times we take during the week before finals to go absolutely crazy! Though frankly, I'm not sure if we are still doing these.
