important solutions and presentations
Householding
-
to download the zip file containing all source code components used by PLU to
generate a materialized view of entity (constituent and organization) information. Using
these views for reporting, greatly enhances the speed of report generation by taking away the
necessity of running "expensive" function calls for each report request. Instead, these calls
are relegated to the daily refresh of the materialized view in the wee hours of the morning
giving our Development department quick access during the day to household membership (method
of compressing to one mailing per household), spouse, address, phone, email, class year, primary
donor type, name information, etc. , and do not need to be called again. The zip file has been
encrypted. To decrypt the information, you must enter the name in uppercase letters of the form
used in Banner which is used for submitting jobs. Related to Advancement Householding presentations given
at SunGardHG Banner Summits 2005, 2006, and 2007.
