The PLU Writing Center is directed by Rona Kaufman, Assistant Professor of English, and is staffed by students with varying majors, including English, religion, history, nursing, political science, and biology.
Rona Kaufman
Rona received her Ph.D. in English and Education from the University of Michigan in August 2002. She teaches the first-year writing seminar (Writing 101), Advanced Composition for Teachers (English 328), Rhetoric, Writing, and Culture (English 387), The English Language (English 403), and the senior writing seminar in creative nonfiction (English 425). Rona also serves as the Director of Faculty Development for the First-Year Experience Program. Students and faculty are invited to e-mail Rona (or call at extension 7295) with thoughts and questions.
