Chihuly Glass

George Lagerquist commissioned world-renowned glass artist Dale Chihuly to create a work that would celebrate PLU's central icon, the Eastvold Chapel Rose Window. Chihuly produced four huge, nine-piece glass "roses," each addressing a different theological symbol: God the Creator (green); Father, Son and Holy Spirit (blue); the Luther Rose (white); and Jesus the Christ (red). They hang in the east windows of the Mary Baker Russell Music Center.
