New First-Year Student Registration

For new First-Year students starting in Fall 2016 semester

Step 1: Complete the registration eligibility steps

Step 2: Complete the necessary placement exams

  • Math Placement Evaluation (free, online – results can take up to two weeks)
  • Language Placement.  After clicking on the Foreign Language Placement link, click “Enter Secure Area (Banner Web)”.  Next, log in to Banner Web with your PLU ID and PIN.  Click the “Student Services” tab.  Click “Student Records” link.  Click “Language Placement” link.  Follow the instructions provided.  (free, online – results can take up to two weeks)

Step 3: Request your appointment

All incoming first-year students will meet with an Academic Advisor to register for Fall 2016 classes. These meetings provide an opportunity for students to discuss course selection, interest areas and academic preparation.  The form below will ask you questions to help prepare for your registration appointment, including your availability for New Student Registration.

Appointment Availability

For on campus Registration Appointments, we have a HALF DAY experience planned for you.

For phone/Skype appointments, please plan for approximately one hour for your appointment.

Please indicate which date works best for you.

Most students will travel to PLU for their registration appointment.  If you live at a distance and are unable to travel to PLU, a phone or Skype appointment can be arranged.
