Note Regarding Transcripts

The following applies to all programs, except the Rainier Writing Workshop, MFA in Creative Writing.

Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended must accompany your application. This includes all community college coursework. Transcripts should be sent directly from the school/s attended to the above address. E-script or secure online transcript systems are acceptable, and should be directed to gradadmission@plu.edu.

Unofficial transcripts may be sent with your application, while you are in the process of ordering/sending the official version/s. Unofficial transcripts can be useful for us in preparing your file for review, although ultimately, all transcripts must be official.

The following applies to the Rainier Writing Workshop, MFA in Creative Writing ONLY.

Official transcripts from your highest degree earned will be requested if you are selected for admission. To speed the process, you may submit transcripts with your application. Transcripts should be sent directly from the school/s attended to the above address. E-script or secure online transcript systems are acceptable, and should be directed to gradadmission@plu.edu.

Unofficial transcripts may useful for us, although ultimately, all transcripts must be official.

The following applies to PLU Alumni

PLU Alumni do not need to request official transcripts from PLU. We will pull official transcripts internally. Simply indicate your PLU degree/coursework on the application.
