Be a Lute! Pay your Enrollment Deposit.

Set up your PLU ePass

The PLU ePass is your PLU student email account, as well as login to give you access to a wide range of resources such as PLU web pages, the Sakai Learning Management System, and network registration for your devices.  Click here to set up your ePass.

Prepare for Class Registration

Complete Your Online Payment Agreement

Before registering for classes, all students are required to complete an online payment agreement each academic year.  The Online Payment Agreement is where you will select your payment option for the next academic year for any remaining balance after scholarships. *Please note: The Online Payment Agreement is not the payment itself, but the agreement to let PLU know how you plan to make your payment.*

Meningococcal Release Acknowledgement

Per Washington State law, students must read and acknowledge the risks of meningitis, or meningococcal disease. They can do this on PLU’s Banner Self Service by following these steps.

2023-24 Estimated Costs

Tuition and Fees: $50,594
Room & Meals: $12,448
Books & Supplies: $762
Student Health Insurance: $1,366
Personal Expenses (approximate): $1,960

Total: $67,130

Register for Classes

Once you have paid your Enrollment Deposit, signed up for your ePass, and completed the Online Payment Agreement and Meningococcal Release Acknowledgement, you will be ready to begin the class registration process. Go to the New Student Registration websites for First-Year or Transfer students or email Academic Advising at intlaadv@plu.edu to get started.

Other Preparations

As you finalize your preparations to come to PLU, complete the New Student Arrival Form and email your flight information to intl@plu.edu.

It is also important that you closely follow the New International Student Checklist to complete any other necessary steps to prepare to come to PLU. If you are a non-degree seeking student, please follow the Non-Degree Seeking New Student Checklist. You will also find helpful information on PLU’s International Student Services website.

Health Insurance

All international students must be covered by an adequate student health insurance plan. Some international students may be approved to use a non-PLU health insurance. Please follow the Health Insurance Waiver instructions for approval. If you plan to be covered by PLU’s health insurance plan, no action needs to be taken (the cost of the plan will automatically be added to your bill).

New Student Orientation & Global Campus Connection Program

Now that you’re officially a Lute, it’s time to look forward to New Student Orientation, and the start of your PLU experience! We also encourage you to apply for PLU’s Global Campus Connection (GCC) Program. This program promotes mutually beneficial learning experiences between new International students and current PLU students. By participating in GCC, new International students have a smoother transition into their new life at PLU and in the U.S.  By connecting with International students, current PLU students have the opportunity to engage in cross-cultural interactions without leaving the PLU campus!
