Advice
What’s one thing every prospective PLU student should know?
Every prospective PLU student should know how unique this community is. Your faculty members and classmates will challenge you to consider new ideas and support you as you learn and experience new opportunities. PLU is a challenging academic environment in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Where else can you enjoy the beauty of the great outdoors along with a community that strives to help you find the path you were meant to follow? This is PLU. Come and see for yourself.
What do you like about living in the Northwest?
I love living near the mountains and the ocean – we have the great opportunity to enjoy both here in the Northwest year round. Hiking, skiing, and kayaking are all within minutes. I also enjoy the cultural diversity of this area – the arts, literature, cuisine, and the history all provide numerous opportunities for exploration and discovery. And I appreciate the community I live in…the people of the Northwest have a love of the outdoors, care for the environment, and a spirit of adventure.
