After working for 30 years in College Administration, David is now retired and resides in Mount Vernon, WA. He volunteers at the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival and KSVR, his local public radio station. David also is the President of the Friends of the Mount Vernon Public Library and dedicates his time there as well as at his church.

He also volunteers at PLU and David says what inspired him to volunteer is that, “I loved being a student and love how PLU helped me find direction in my life, and I want to help others enjoy PLU as well.”
