Judy began as a high school teacher of German and Spanish. After attending graduate school at SUNY, Albany, she went to work for Merrill Lynch as a financial advisor. 13 years later she went into management and retired in 2005 as the Managing Director of the Pacific Islands.

Judy has expanded her on-going interest and education in art. As a painter she has been in a gallery in Charleston, SC as well as Edmonds and Hawaii. She is a co-owner of a gallery - Indigo, Fine Art gallery in historic downtown Charleston.  She is also active in St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church.
