Buildings, Places, and Offices

These photographs reflect Pacific Lutheran University campus. The cornerstone of the university was laid in 1890 and in 1894 classes began. The collection traces the growth of the university through, among other things, the buildings as they were first erected on campus.

Keneth Dunmire Collection
Kenneth Dunmire Photo Collection (1966-1992)

Kenneth Dunmire was the university photographer from 1964 until 1995.  During his time he documented all events on campus.  He shot approximately 21,000 images each year.  These images are available chronological order.
