| Will Clark, Assistant
Coach Will
Clark is in his sixth season as a Pacific Lutheran University
assistant baseball coach. His primary responsibility is working
with the catchers and hitters.
Clark played his collegiate baseball at George Fox University,
where he is among the all-time leaders in saves, appearances
and earned run average.
Clark earned his bachelor's degree in 1998 and his master's
in 1999 from George Fox. He is a math teacher at Lakes High
School in Lakewood, Wash. Clark is engaged to Hannah DeRoo
and they will be married on July 5.

| T.J. Cafferty,
Assistant Coach T.J.
Cafferty is in his second year as a PLU baseball assistant
coach, and he will work with outfielders and hitters.
Cafferty, a native of Boise, Idaho, played two seasons of
collegiate baseball at PLU after transferring from Walla Walla
CC. Cafferty, an outfielder, had a .305 career batting average
while playing for Geoff Loomis at PLU.
Cafferty is a substitute teacher and lives in Parkland.

Soete, Assistant Coach
Nolan
Soete is in his second season as a PLU baseball assistant
coach, and he will work with infielders and hitters.
A four-year letter winner while playing baseball at Pacific
Lutheran, Soete earned 2005 second team All-Northwest Conference
honors as a senior first baseman after hitting .317 with four
home runs.
Soete, a 2006 Pacific Lutheran University graduate, is a
substitute teacher. He and his wife, Jessica, live in Lakewood.

| Matt Serr, Assistant
Coach
Matt
Serr joins the Pacific Lutheran baseball coaching staff in
2008 and will work with the PLU pitchers.
Serr, a four-year letter winner, twice earned first team All-Northwest
Conference honors while at PLU. He earned all-conference and
all-region honors as a senior pitcher for the Lutes in 2005.
That season, Serr finished with a 2.98 earned run average
and a 7-0 record, setting a PLU record for most wins in a
season without suffering a loss. He finished his four seasons
at Pacific Lutheran ranked fourth in career wins (20) and
in innings pitched.
Serr is a physical education teacher at Cedarcrest Junior
High and lives
in Tacoma with his wife, Jenna.
