Men’s Lightweight 4 Finishes First
at NCRC Invitational
Results
VANCOUVER, Wash. – The men’s Varsity Lightweight
4+ finished first to highlight Pacific Lutheran’s efforts
at the NCRC Invitational held Saturday at Vancouver Lake.
The Lutes clocked 7:50.75 to beat Long Beach State by 11.26 seconds
in the two-boat competition. Caron Anderson served as the PLU
coxswain and the rowers were Justin Hull, Tyler Koehn, Chad Hall
and Sam Whedon.
The women’s Varsity Lightweight 4+ also showed well as
the first of two PLU entries placed second to Long Beach State,
finishing in 9:16.28 and trailing the winners by 10.58 seconds.
In the featured Division III women’s Varsity 8+, Pacific
Lutheran finished fourth in a time of 8:06.59, 34 seconds behind
winner Puget Sound.
