College: Lettered within her first two years at PLU…voted as captain her freshman and junior year. Her freshman year, she was on the All-Conference team and voted as the Most Inspirational and received the coach’s award. Her sophomore year, she was an Academic All-American. Placed 9th at 2006 Head of the Charles for varsity four. In 2006, Kat placed 3rd at Western intercollegiate. Also rowed in the novice four boat that took fifth at the Western intercollegiate championship.

High School: Rowed in varsity eight boat that took third at Midwest championships. Also rowed in the varsity four boat that took second at the Midwest championships.

Personal: Born May 9, 1987. Parents are Susan and Robert Jenkins. Kat is majoring in physics. Kat has also made the Dean’s list for the fall and spring semester her freshman year.
