John Yorke, the men's soccer head coach at Pacific
Lutheran, the goal every year is to battle for the
championship of the Northwest Conference, which
annually produces some of the best teams at the
NCAA Division III level. Yorke, himself a former
Lute player, has taken the program to that status
as he heads into his sixth year as head coach.
Yorke certainly knows the outstanding
tradition of Pacific Lutheran men's soccer. Since
1979, Pacific Lutheran men's soccer teams have had
21 winnings seasons and won nearly 60 percent of
their matches. Under Yorke's guidance, there's every
reason to believe that the Lutes will continue to
building on their tradition of success.
