High School: At Puyallup High, Danika was first team South Puget Sound League for two years…Tacoma Athletic Commission Athlete of the Month twice…TAC Athlete of the Year Award winner…named to News Tribune and Seattle PI all-area teams…voted MVP at Puyallup High and received the captain award…presented with PHS Golden Athlete award as well as Female Athlete of the Year award…played in the East-West All-State game.

Personal: Born March 8, 1988…parents are Kim and David Lawson…both parents and grandfather, Bob Ross, graduated from PLU and played basketball for the Lutes…uncle Jeff Lawson played football for University of Idaho and cousin Amy Lawson played volleyball for the University of Maine…plans to major in biology.
