Dean's Welcome Message
Dean Nancy Albers-Miller, Ph.D.Welcome to our community,
Noted physicist and priest William Pollard stated “Learning and innovation go hand in hand. The arrogance of success is to think that what you did yesterday will be sufficient for tomorrow.” The atmosphere in business is vital and ever-changing. Organizations are facing new challenges in maintaining green and sustainable places and practices, as well as adapting to innovation, varying demands and disruptive change. The business environment is a dynamic, global, data-driven landscape where professionals must possess the skills, knowledge and experience to implement ethical, socially responsible strategies and build consumer trust. Today’s corporate world requires professionals with the heart and soul of an entrepreneur accountable to society. Business education at PLU prepares our students for this world.
Business education at PLU is different! PLU business education is ranked among the best in the world –with the credentials to support that claim. One of the first small, private comprehensive schools to obtain AACSB accreditation, the School of Business has maintained this gold standard of approval continuously for 42 years.
