In addition to the components of the Engage the World Campaign, donors can make gifts of all sizes in support of specific academic or co-curricular programs. This broad base of continuing support must grow for a PLU education to continue to be affordable for students and their families, for PLU to attract and retain top-quality faculty and for PLU to be faithful to its mission.

Ways you can support PLU include:

Q Club. By becoming a member of Q Club, you are helping to enhance the academic experience of every student who attends PLU. Q Club dollars can be designated to support student financial aid, academic excellence, co-curricular activities and other areas of great need.

Lute Club. Lute Club is the greatest source of non-tuition dollars in support of the PLU athletic program. Lute Club funds are used to offset travel expenses, purchase equipment and ensure that each student athlete has the best experience possible. Lute Club gifts can be made outright or designated to one of the university's 22 varsity and club sports.

Department-specific giving. You can designate your gift in support of a particular academic department or discipline to help offset expenses and provide additional support for equipment, materials and other needs not covered by tuition dollars.

Speaker at the Holocaust Conference

Students engage with intellectual leaders on important social issues At first glance, it seems PLU would be an unlikely center for the study and scholarship of the Holocaust. But you shouldn't be surprised – the university has a long tradition of working for issues of justice and tolerance. Each year PLU's annual Powell and Heller Holocaust Conference brings highly regarded international Holocaust scholars to campus, where they discuss the most difficult issues of our time. This kind of prestige also brings dollars – at the most recent conference, the university announced an endowment total of $2 million, ensuring this scholarly work at PLU will continue, and the university will remain one of the premier centers for Holocaust studies in the nation.
