“Even if I knew that tomorrow the world would go to pieces, I would still plant my apple tree.”

— Martin Luther

Morning Prayer provides a break in our busy lives and schedules to reflect, be challenged, and to nurture the spiritual side of life.  Rooted in the Lutheran musical and liturgical tradition, Morning Prayer welcomes people of all faith and non-faith backgrounds.

Enjoy music from University Organist Dr. Paul Tegels, student musicians, and many of the choirs and ensembles of PLU.  Hear from influential speakers including students, faculty, and staff, as well as from important figures outside of the PLU community.

During the academic year, Morning Prayer takes place on Wednesdays in Ness Family Chapel (within the Karen Hille Phillips Center) at 10:30 AM.
