March 7 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM
Location: Eastvold Auditorium - Karen Hille Phillips Center for the Performing Arts

As author Rachel Carson struggles to complete her book, Silent Spring, she simultaneously fights both her progressing breast cancer and various factions of American enterprise that launch a crusade against her reputation. Carson’s solace is found in Alice in Wonderland, the imaginative guide her subconscious clings to. Carson’s story converges with a fantastical landscape enlivened by literary, film and cultural references that theatricalize the revolutionary science of Silent Spring.
