Biography

Lizz is a Licensed Psychologist in the state of Washington.  While she has worked in a variety of mental health settings (rural/urban, Veteran’s Administration, Community Mental Health, University Counseling Centers), doing wellbeing work with college students is Lizz’s passion.  Her approach to working with students is collaborative and integrates deep presence, a focus on the specific goals and needs of each individual, and engaging the best matched scientifically-supported interventions to help students move forward in their wellbeing journey.  Lizz often incorporates elements of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), interpersonal, or psychodynamic therapies to match student needs.  She has special interest and training in integrating spirituality in counseling and personal growth.

Lizz believes college, while often a challenging time, can provide a unique opportunity for transformation and renewed relationship with self, others, and the world – and that counseling can help students re-define what they want those relationships to be.
