Corporation Advisory Council will meet 5-7pm in Room 134 of the University Center on the campus of Pacific Lutheran University.
You Can Help Recruit Partner Congregations
PLU has launched a Partner Congregation Program that we believe
every congregation in Region 1 will want to participate in. One
of the many benefits includes a special $1,000 confirmation scholarship
that will normally be awarded to confirmands at the time of their
Affirmation of Baptism Service. However, we are making it
retroactive to include any students who are confirmed members of your
congregation.
Help us spread the word by:
Contacting your pastor and/or congregations in your cluster with this information.
Please
note that any youth interested in the confirmation scholarship must
apply by January 1st of their senior year in High School.
Additional forms and
information can be downloaded from PLU Church Relations.
Future dates: Should you not be concerned about
current high school seniors, you may return the Partner Congregation
reply card at any time. We do ask that if you would like your
upcoming confirmation class to receive a nice scholarship certificate
worth $1,000 from PLU at the time they are confirmed, that you provide
us with the Master Student List and individual forms (to be filled out
by student or parent) at least one month prior to the Affirmation of
Baptism service. All forms should be sent to: The Office of
Church Relations, Pacific Lutheran University, Tacoma, WA 98447.
