Big Data and Digital Books
Director of IT, Logos Bible Software
Tuesday, November 13, 2012
3:45 – 4:45
Morken Center, Room #103
How is big data changing the electronic book experience? Readers engage digital books differently; notes, highlights, and bookmarks are saved to the cloud and synced across a reader's devices. Sharing a passage or recommending a book is just a button click away. Since all these activities are cloud enabled, ebook providers have new opportunities to learn reading patterns, identify hot titles, and recommend more targeted product recommendations. Jim will present on how Logos is improving the electronic reading experience using analysis of Logos customer data.
