Developer Intern (Half-time)

The Washington State Patrol is a state agency whose mission is "to make a difference every day, enhancing the safety and security of our state by providing the best in public safety services."  Our vision is "to be the best public safety agency in the United States."  The agency supports applications used by the law enforcement community across the state of Washington. One of the applications is the SECTOR application, an electronic ticket and collision software developed in the .NET technology and some third party tools. We have several upcoming projects to enhance the application. You will design and develop the front end of a multi-tiered multi-role client and web application, collaborating with the architect and application developers.

o .NET Framework 3.5 to current version
o Entity Framework 4.1 to current version
o HTML, XHTML, XML, XSLT, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX
o SQL (Stored Procedures, Triggers, Transact – QL)
o Crystal Reports 7 to current version
o Analyzing and debugging small to large-size applications.
o Visual Studio 2008 to current version
o SQL Server 2008 to current version
o Team Foundation Server 2010 to current version
