The Queer Student Retreat is a gathering for PLU students who identify as GLBTQ. Students attending the Queer Student will make connections, build community, engage in meaningful conversation, explore issues of identity, celebrate the energies and initiatives of the GLBTQ community at PLU and have an all-around good time. Lunch provided! Retreat activities will be facilitated by Lace Smith, Abigail Blankner, Uma Rao, and Angie Hambrick.
The Queer Student Retreat is a program sponsored by Diversity Center, the Women’s Center, Crossroads, and Student Involvement and Leadership.

The cost of retreat is $5.00! Lunch will be provided.
Friday, February 25th: Application submissions for retreat due before 5pm.
Monday, February 28th: Notification will be sent to all applicants after 5pm.
Where is the retreat?
Accepted applicants will be notified on February 28th with the location of the retreat. The location will not be published elsewhere. Depending on the number of students, you may be asked to provide your own off-campus transportation.
Is the application process confidential?
Yes, your submission will be strictly confidential. Your name or personal information will not be shared or given out and your application will only be accessible to the Retreat Planning Committee.
What does the acronym GLBTQQAI2 stand for?
Gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, asexual, intersex and 2-spirited.
Can allies attend the retreat OR do I have to identify as GLBTQQAI2 or queer to attend?
You must identify as GLBTQQAI2 or queer to attend the retreat.
