Q Club gifts of all sizes help support the mission of Pacific Lutheran University

Dear Faculty and Staff Colleagues,

We contribute annually to Q Club because we believe in the mission of PLU and we want PLU to succeed in the future. By giving to Q Club, we are contributing to the success of PLU by increasing resources for important programs like scholarships and student/faculty research. However, a major reason why we give is to assist PLU development efforts in obtaining gifts from potential donors. We understand that, very often, individual and institutional donors are more likely to give and give more if they know that the faculty and staff believe in the institution. Reasons to Give to Q Club

• Tuition covers only 77 percent of what it costs to educate a student at PLU. The remaining cost of a PLU education is made possible through the gifts given by alumni, staff, parents and friends of the university.
• Academic programs such as student/faculty research, Wild Hope and study abroad programs are supported through funds raised annually.
• By supporting Q Club you are showing potential businesses, foundations and individual donors that PLU employees are willing to make the university a priority in their own charitable giving.
