The Vision for PLU Softball

In Spring 2012 the PLU softball team completed an impressive season that included a National Championship win, two Academic All-Americans, a Division III award for National Coaching Staff of the Year, and a NCAA post-graduate scholarship for team pitcher Stacey Hagensen. The Softball team gave PLU another reason to be proud of being Lutes. Now is the time to give back to these phenomenal student-athletes!

PLU is striving to create a first class softball facility that will:

Help attract potential student athletes
Provide a venue to host NCAA Division III playoff games
Create an opportunity for year-round practice and games for PLU

Planned Improvements for the field include:

New playing surface for infield and outfield
Lighting
Dugouts
Grandstand with announcer booth
Scoreboard
New batting cage (Completed)
