Laura was born and raised in Northern California, into a family who was always hungry! This encouraged her to learn from a young age and is mostly self taught in her cooking abilities. Laura and her family relocated to Washington after her graduation from high school in 2005. Laura is a 2008 graduate of Oregon Culinary Institute in Portland, OR. After graduating she worked for Vibrant Table Catering in Portland, OR before going to work for Maswik Lodge at the Grand Canyon South Rim where she worked and lived for three months. After a few kitchen jobs in the Tacoma area, she is now working on a year with PLU working on Crave and Aglio. She enjoys lots of outdoor activities and spending as much of her free time with her family, friends and her puppy.
