Activity Stream

Description

Activity Streams will display recent activity on a number of social networks of your choosing. An Activity Stream will compile (aggregate) new events and activities from multiple social network profiles.

You can get content from: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Picasa. For each network you may specify multiple user account names, if you wish to compile information from multiple sources on the same social network.

How-to

To create a new Activity Streams widget you must first select the parent folder (We recommend adding it to activity-streams in the widgets folder). Then head to the "New" dropdown menu in the upper left and select Widgets>>Activity Streams. This will create a new Activity Streams widget in the selected parent folder. Select your new Activity Streams widget page and select "edit", you may now configure your new Activity Streams widget.

See the Form Fields section to see what each field corresponds to. To add a new fold in the widget just select the "+" button in the top left of the "General >> Section" box.

Form Fields

Title:

• Enter a display title for the widget

Number of Entries Visible:

• Select the number of visible entries when the widget is displayed on a page.

Facebook User Name:

• Enter a Facebook user name to get data from. You may specify multiple user names.

Twitter User Name:

• Enter a Twitter user name to get data from. You may specify multiple user names.

YouTube User Name:

• Enter a YouTube user name to get data from. You may specify multiple user names.

Picasa User Name:

• Enter a Picasa user name to get data from. You may specify multiple user names. You may also specify what type of data you want
