Image Rotator

Description

The Image Rotator widget allows you to have sets of images rotate like a scrolling marquee. You may specify text. These images may be linked through to other Cascade Pages or an Alternate URL. Common image sizes for banners are 908 x 200px and 908 x 250px for small and large banners.

How-to

To create a new Image Rotator widget you must first select the parent folder (We recommend adding it to image-rotators the widgets folder). Then head to the "New" dropdown menu in the upper left and select Widgets>>Image Rotator. This will create a new Image Rotator widget in the selected parent folder. Select your new Image Rotator widget page and select "edit", you may now configure your new widget.

See the Form Fields section to see what each field corresponds to. For each Ad Item you may add an image, Alt Text which is alternative text which will be displayed on top of the image, alternative page links which can be styled based on the URL Options, and the begin and end dates for displaying the item content.

    • Select the number of seconds each slide should pause between transitions

    • Select the speed of the transitions in seconds

    • Toggle random ordering

    • Select the style of navigation shown on the widget

Ad Item (Multiple)
  • Image: 
    • Specify an image for the Ad Item
  • Alt Text: 
    • Specify alternative text to display on the Ad Item
  • Cascade Page: 
    • Specify a Cascade page to link to when the Ad Item is clicked
  • Alternate URL: 
    • Specify a external URL to link to when the Ad Item is clicked
  • URL Options:
    • Specify options for when the Ad Item is clicked

    • Specify Advanced URL options for the Ad Item
