Brad Moore has been invited by McGraw-Hill Publishers' Higher Education Department to participate in the 2012 Fitness and Wellness Symposium being held at the L'Auberge Del Mar Resort in Del Mar, California to discuss teaching approaches in fitness and wellness education.
Vanessa Tucker presented at the Tacoma Public Schools Paraeducator Conference on the topic of Autism Spectrum Disorders and at thePBIS spring conference in Portland, OR on the study of suspension data in theTacoma Public Schools.

Lenny Reisberg planned and coordinated program evaluations for Tacoma Community in Schools efforts in Tacoma Public Schools.
Vanessa Tucker served as a faculty representative on the new state endorsement for teaching the visually impaired.

Mike Hillis has been editing the book Meal from Below by Kris Rocke and Scott Dewey, targeted-publication date of mid-October. Additionally, he reviewed proposals for the Collaborative Schools for Innovation and Success (CSIS) Pilot project sponsored by OSPI and PESB.
Steve Colgan was re-funded by the Intel Corporation to direct the South Sound Regional Science Fair for the 2012-2013 academic year.
Judy Hassen conducted teacher workshops on early childhood education for Federal Way Public Schools.
