Principal/Program Administrator Certification



The PLU School of Education announces a new principal certification program for experienced educators. This 16-24 month, comprehensive, best-practice, research-supported program is designed to build and enhance leadership skills for those candidates who work in urban, rural, and suburban school systems. Based on current Washington Principal/Program Administrator standards, the program provides candidates the practical knowledge and skills they need to lead a school community, not only for today but into the future. PLU candidates develop the ability to be responsive and results-oriented leaders able to face the challenges of a dynamic school community.

Summer Session 2009
[Classes meet June 30 - August 6, 9:30am-2:30pm Tuesdays and Thursdays]

 EDUC 570: Introduction to Educational Leadership                                 2 semester hours
    EDUC 574: Instruction and Curriculum: Theory and Development        3 semester hours

Fall Semester 2009
[Classes meet Wednesdays, 5:30-8:30, and every other Saturday, 9am-12pm]

 EDUC 573 A&B: Practicum I & II                                                                    2 semester hours
