The PLU School of Education and Movement
Studies/Department of Instructional Development and Leadership announce a new
principal certification program for experienced educators. This comprehensive best-practice,
research-supported program is designed to build and enhance leadership skills
for those candidates who work in urban, rural, and suburban school systems. Based on current Washington Principal/Program
Administrator Standard-Based Benchmarks, program candidates will acquire the
practical knowledge and skills they need to lead a school community, not only
for today but into the future. PLU
candidates will target development of the ability to be responsive and
results-oriented leaders able to face the challenges of a dynamic school community.

Summer Session 2008

Admission Process
You will need to submit the following to the Office of Admission:
- PLU Application for Graduate Admission
- Statement of goals
- Two recommendations (with at least one academic reference)
- Resumé
- Official transcripts from all colleges attended
- Submit GRE scores (MAE candidates only)
- $40.00 application fee
- Complete a formal group interview
