EARLY BIRD SPECIAL - Save $95!

Tuition prices will be reduced to $700 for individuals who register early!  Early Bird registration ends May 31st, 2013. 

Tuition and Housing Costs for PLU's 2013 AP* Summer Institute

AP* and Pre-AP* Course Tuition:

Early Bird:  Until May 31st:  Tuition is $700.00

Starting June 1st:  Tuition will be $795.00

  • Tuition includes 2 semester hours of graduate level credit, many teaching materials, and special events.

On Campus Housing Costs: $42.25/night

Fees and Deadlines

Until May 31, 2013 tuition for AP* courses will be $700.00. On June 1st tuition prices will raise to $795.00.

CANCELLATION POLICY: A $75.00 fee will be charged for cancellations.  After July 8th, no refunds will be issued.  Cancellations must be received in writing to profdev@plu.edu.

Scholarships/Financial Aid

AP* Fellows Grant

For the 2013 AP* Summer Institute, the College Board* is able to offer the the AP* Fellows Grant for those teachers of under-represented or impoverished student populations.  For more information, visit:  http://professionals.collegeboard.com/k-12/awards/ap-grants

AP* STEM Access Program

The AP* STEM Access program was created to increase the number of traditionally underrepresented minority and high school students in AP* science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) courses.  Please visit the AP* STEM webpage for more information about the funding that is available.  

AP* Chemistry Scholarships

The College Board* will be providing scholarships for AP* Chemistry Teachers to attend the AP* Summer Institute.  More information soon!
