Applications are now being accepted for the 2013-2014 ProCert Prep Program.
ProCert Prep @ PLU is designed to assist you in the creation of a strong portfolio to submit to ProTeach for assessment. PLU is excited to offer this all online support program with a variety of options allowing you to choose a support model that fits your needs.

ProCert Prep @ PLU 2013-2014:
-Online, in real time cohort meetings with experienced facilitators (2x's per month) on weekday afternoon/evenings.
-24-7 access to ProCert Prep @ PLU support materials through specific online tools.
-Specific guidance and feedback for understanding and implementing ProCert standards and entry development.
-University Credits: Earn 10 semester hours of Graduate level Continuing Education credits (150 clock hours). Successful portfolio candidates can roll up to 10 of these credits (at no additional charge) into the Master of Arts-Instructional Leadership program.
This comprehensive 1-year (two semester) option is best for ProCert candidates who desire extensive support. This program will help you complete your Professional Growth Needs Assessment. You will be guided in: goal setting based upon the Needs Assessment, writing Entries 1,2, 3, and capturing quality evidence of practice. Candidates also focus on strong descriptive, reflective, and analytical writing for portfolio entries. Candidates can choose either the Fall or Spring start date.
Fall 2013-Spring 2014: Classes meet 2x's per month= 18 sessions.

Ideal for those with a June 28, 2013 ProTeach submission date.
**All cohort sessions meet online weeknights after school/early evening; times dependent upon cohort assignment.
ProCert Prep Program Tuition and Fees*
Application Non-Refundable Fee - $40.00* (checks made payable to PLU)
Tuition: Full Year Program Fee- $1000 (Billed $500 per semester)

ADDITIONAL APPLICATION INFORMATION
To join the ProCert Prep @ PLU program in addition to completing the application, you must submit:
- A Copy of You Current Washington State Residency Teaching Certificate
- College Transcripts (official or unofficial)
- $40 non-refundable application fee (checks made payable to PLU)
- Have regular access to a computer and internet along with a headset with a built in microphone (LogiTech is a good brand) and a webcam)
