The Department of Instructional Development and Leadership (IDL) offers undergraduate, post-baccalaureate and graduate programs of study leading to a residency teaching certificate with endorsements in elementary education, middle level content areas, secondary education, and special education.

Candidates who successfully complete a program of professional studies in the department, who meet all related academic requirements and who meet all state requirements will be recommended by the department for a Washington State Residency Teaching Certificate.

The Assistant Director of Admission and Advising along with program coordinators are happy to meet with candidates to discuss program options and endorsement requirements.
