Preparing leaders for careers

The role of the School of Physical Education is to instill in each student a fundamental respect for physical activity in living and in daily life.

Instruction is offered in 30 physical education activities. The activity program is uniquely characterized by a timely response to student interests in recreational opportunities available in the Pacific Northwest.

The School of Physical Education prepares leaders for careers in teaching, health, recreation, athletics and therapeutics.
