Dedicated to the fulfillment of the human spirit through creative expression and careful scholarship, the School of Arts and Communication encourages students to pursue their artistic and scholarly work in an environment that challenges complacency, nurtures personal growth and maintains a strong culture of collegial integrity.
PLU students graduate from the School of Arts and Communication with a meaningful and enriching experience. The departments within the school are: art, communication and theatre, and music.
Highlighted facilities for the School of Arts and Communication include two art galleries, a television and radio production studio, and the premier Mary Baker Russell Music Center, which includes the 534-seat Lagerquist Concert Hall.
