Project Management

Project Management coordinates, designs, estimates, and manages construction and renovation projects.Our project coordinator handles various projects with outside contractors for new installations, remodels, reconfigurations, or upgrades. He can coordinate projects with multiple departments or events that are held around campus. He can also be consulted to schedule office moves.

Scheduling Projects - Minor Construction & Renovation

There are certain steps that must be taken in order to schedule minor construction or renovation of an area. Proposals are to be made through the Vice President of the department. All proposals are reviewed by the V. P. of Finance and Operations, the Capital Improvements Committee, and the President's Council. All approved project proposals are prioritized and scheduled for capital funding. Facilities Management personnel will manage the project internally or with a contractor. To schedule a project with Facilities, please fill out a Capitol Improvements Request Form.

Scheduling Moves

All moves are coordinated and submitted through a common move form, which is available on Projects@PLU.
