Study Away
The Wang Center for Global Education collaborates with the Health Center to ensure that your study away experience is as safe and healthy as possible. For PLU-sponsored programs, you will be required to attend a presentation
regarding safe travel to your destination, recommended immunizations, and procedures for a pre-departure medical examination.
If you are traveling on a program that is not sponsored by PLU, you may still obtain travel vaccines and undergo any required medical examinations at the Health Center.
If you are planning to depart for a study away program in January 2013, the required medical paperwork may be found under the Documents and Forms section.
There is never a charge for a pre-departure travel consultation or medical examination. For more information about vaccine fees, visit the Insurance and Fees web page.
