Department Purchases

All PLU departmental software purchases must be coordinated through Information & Technology Services. We will work with numerous vendors to find the best price/value for the University and get back to you with a quote for the equipment. We have a standard set of applications and tools which we support.  Information on our standards can be be obtained here

Personal Purchases

Personal purchases may be made through the PLU Bookstore, or other vendors.  If you choose to purchase equipment online, you may want to check for discounted pricing for individuals associated with educational institutions.

Note to PLU Employees and Students:

PLU has signed up with TechHead.org so that employees and students can make personal software purchases at discounted rates.  These prices are very competitive.  Purchasing through TechHead.org requires a valid credit card and a current PLU ID card.  You will need to scan or take a photo of the card and send it to them to verify you are a current student, staff, or faculty member.  If you have problems purchasing online at this site, please contact the help desk at helpdesk@plu.edu for additional assistance.
