Biography:


Jennifer is a historian of early modern Europe with a specialization in the Italian Renaissance.  Her research focuses on the intersection of gender, religious institutions and female authority in the late medieval and renaissance periods.  Her teaching interests include renaissance social and intellectual history, early modern Christianity, western civilization, women's and gender history, and the Atlantic world.
