Summer Fitness


PLU offers fitness classes for staff and faculty during each term throughout the year.

Session Two

July 21 - August 21

All classes are from 12:15 - 12:45 pm

Classes are $10 each, or take all three in a session for $20.

Minimum enrollment for all classes is 12.

When: Tuesdays, 12:15 pm - 12:45 pm

Where: Columbia Center, except 8/5 in UC 201

Instructor: Allison Stephens

Build strength, stability, and balance through traditional abdominal exercises, pilates and plank. Please bring a mat or towel.

When: Wednesdays, 12:15 pm - 12:45 pm

Where: Olson Balcony, except 7/23 in Memorial Gym, 7/30 and 8/6 in the Fieldhouse

Instructor: Susan Westering

Enjoyable class alternating strength training bands and aerobic exercise. Total fat burning!

When: Thursdays, 12:15 pm - 12:45 pm

Where: Fitness Center (may meet outside the fitness center, weather-permitting)

Instructor: Allison Stephens

Fit Club will combine cardio and strength exercises for a total body workout including running, jumping, lunges, squats, and weights. All exercises adjust to your fitness level. Please bring your PLU ID card and a water bottle.

Remember to bring your PLU ID card for classes in Memorial Gym/ Fitness Center.

The pool is open during the summer!
