Career and Internship Fair
PLU holds two Career and Internship Fairs each year: One the last week of October and one the first week of March. National and local employers will be on-campus recruiting students for their open career related positions and great internship opportunities. You should use that event to look into opportunities and ask questions.
Career Fairs provide PLU students, alumni and employers a comprehensive opportunity to meet in person. Students and alumni may expand their network of employer contacts and learn about professional openings, full-time, part-time, and internship career related opportunities. Watch the Important Dates section of this website for information on workshop sessions that will help you be prepared and get the most from this event.
The Fall 2009 "Road to Your Future" Career & Internship Fair:

How Students Benefit
We offer information sessions and workshop sessions prior to the Career Fairs to help you be well prepared to meet and talk with employers. Make the Most of the Career Fair. Also don't forget to check out what employers will be there.
How Employers Benefit
If you are not on our contact list to be notified of these events, contact either the Academic Internship Office or the Career Development office with your name, organization and mailing address. We will be happy to add you to our list of interested employers and send you information. Mark your calendar for these events and plan to attend.
We offer door prizes to students who attend and complete a feedback form. If you would like to offer something as a door prize – further publicizing your organization and giving greater visibility to your recruiting – we would like to talk with you about what you are offering and how we can help showcase your organization.
How Faculty Benefit
Use these opportunities to meet and get acquainted with employers who could hire your students and/or support their field of study. Employers might be interested in engaging in a special project, sponsoring events, etc.
