Who is eligible to participate in Intramural Sports?
A.

All current PLU students, faculty and staff are eligible to participate in intramural sports. The only exception is member of PLU varsity intercollegiate athletic teams ar not eligible to compete in their own varsity sport.

Are Varsity and Club Sport Athletes eligible to participate in Intramural Sports?
A.

Varsity and Club Sport athletes are welcome to participate in IM sports. The only exception is member of PLU varsity intercollegiate athletic teams ar not eligible to compete in their own varsity sport.

How do I register for intramural sports?
A.

To register for an IM sports league, legibly write down your full name, phone number, e-mail and resident hall on a sign up sheet; they are available from your Residence Hall Athletic Director, RHAD, download a copy form the Athletics/IM Sports web site, or outside of Olson 102. Registration is mandatory and must be turned into the IM sports director by the listed deadline.

What if I don't have a team?
A.

If you do not have a team to register with though are interested in participating IM Sports, fill out the registration form as an individual. Turn the form into the IM Sports Director and a team assignment will be made if possible. Contact Jud Keim at keimjj@plu.edu or x8351 with more specific questions about this process.

What if I can't play at the time I am scheduled?
A. If you or your team are not able to compete at the time you are scheduled, contact the IM Sports Director, Jud Keim, at keimjj@plu.edu or x8351.
What happens if the weather is bad?
A.

If players have already arrived at the game site the decision to play or not is made by the IM Sports Supervisor. If inclement weather is forecasted for the majority of the day, an e-mail will go out from the IM Sports Director to the team captains who are responsible for notifying players.

What happens if I get injured during a game?
A.

All of our activities have an IM Sports Supervisor present. If the injury requires attention, the supervisor will contact Campus Safety.
