A LuteCard is your University ID Card, your library card, your on-campus meal plan card, and even an on-campus debit card. You will need your LuteCard to access most PLU campus events, and to access the swimming pool and Names Fitness Center. You will also need it to access to your residence hall. All Students, Employees, Dependants of Employees and Affiliates are eligible for LuteCards.

Buy Dining Dollars More Conveniently

During service hours, the Concierge Desk staff will add Dining Dollars to your ID card instantly.

Charge to Your Student Account
Complete an online request form to purchase Dining Dollars in any amount. Within 72 hours, Dining Dollars will be added to your LuteCard account and a charge will be made to your student account. Some restrictions apply.
Faculty, Administrator, Staff LuteCard Exchange
Effective August 1, 2011 all faculty, administrators, and staff may trade-in their active LuteCards free of charge for any of the following reasons: The card is creased or cracked, the magnetic strip is worn or no longer working, the picture is old or faded, or the faculty, administrator, or staff member's name has changed. In order to qualify for the free exchange the old card must be turned in. There will still be an $8 charge for cards damaged due to carelessness or misuse.
Lost or Stolen LuteCards
The Campus Concierge and Lutecard Services know how important you Lutecard is to you so we have updated our lost card policy.
If you loose you Lutecard report it to the Concierge immediately so that we can deactivate it to protect your Dining Dollars and Lutebucks and to protect building security. You then have the option to continue searching for your lost ID or purchasing a new card. If you wish to continue looking for your Lutecard you may purchase a 7 day temporary ID card for $5.00. After you find your lost ID card we would be happy to reactivate it for you at no charge, just bring it to the Concierge desk.
*Only your most current card may be reactivated, we are not able to reactivate cards that have already been replaced.

As soon as a card is reported lost, it is turned off and no longer usable. Until the card is reported lost, card balances and buildings can be accessed by anyone. Card holders are liable until cards are reported lost or stolen (unlike a credit card there are no liability limits). Please note there is a fee to replace lost cards.
