This paper will talk about the security of RSA. RSA is an encryption algorithm created by Ronald Rivest, Adi Shamir and Leonard Adleman in 1978. This algorithm is supposed to be very secure mathematically. However, even the most secure algorithm, if implemented badly, can have vulnerabilities. Also, there may be a way to break the encryption mathematically and decrypt the information. In order to do this using purely mathematical means, the only information that people could use to find the key would be the information that is made public knowledge. Essentially it would be looking for the key that was used to encrypt the information in order to find the key that will be used to decrypt the information. If there is a way to mathematically decrypt the information, there will be a way to implement a program that will use the public information in an attempt to find the key.
