This presentation is focused on research involved with several concepts of password security. Topics include the study of three different cryptographic hash functions; SHA-1, SHA-256, and MD-5, as well as the discussion of three common password cracking techniques; the Brute Force Attack, Dictionary Attack, and Rainbow Table Attack.
