  • The 2015-2016, 12-month MAE with Principal Certification is 32 continuous semester hours from summer of 2015 to spring 2016, with a total program cost of $26,720 or $835 per semester hour.
  • Tuition is based on a cohort model. Students must complete the program with their cohort to remain eligible for cohort pricing.
  • Additional fees may include: Books, Graduation Fee, etc.
  • Federal financial aid is available, and students may apply for PLU Graduate scholarship and fellowships. The FAFSA application becomes available for the upcoming academic year on January 1st.

  • The 2015-2016, 14-month MAE in Instructional Leadership is 32 continuous semester hours from summer of 2015 to summer 2016, with a total program cost of $26,720* or $835 per semester hour.
  • Summer 2015
    • For teachers who do not hold a professional certificate the required 3 courses (10 credits) must be completed.
    • For teachers who have a professional certificate, 2 -10 of tuition-free semester hours may be awarded during summer 2015 for ESPY 540X, Demonstrating Teacher Competency and Student Achievement. A juried portfolio must be submitted, and the contents must be determined to be at or beyond the Descriptions of Practice level. Contact the Department of Education for details.

The 2015-2016, 12-month Principal Certification Only is 18 – 32 semester hours from summer of 2015 to spring 2016, with a total program cost of $15,030 – $26,720 or $835 per semester hour.

The tuition rate will change if you do not complete courses within 2 years.

The number of hours required depends on a candidate’s previous coursework in their master’s degree program. The minimum required courses are marked with an asterisk (*) below.
Additional fees may include: Certification Fee, Fingerprinting, Graduation Fee, Placement File, Thesis Binding, Copyrighting, etc.
