Biography

I am an alumna of the PLU Couple and Family Therapy Program and have been a licensed couple and family therapist since 2002. The focus of my work has been high risk adolescents and their families and all the issues that includes (substance abuse, self harm, sexual identity development, and couples’ relationships within these family systems). I have 12 plus years practicing from an evidence based model in the juvenile court system. I have been lucky enough to have a very diverse client base, working with diversity in race, ethnicity, religion, family structures, sexual orientation and socio-economic status. More recently, I have been pursuing post graduate training in human sexuality and clinical sexology. This is reflective of my developing interest in sexual and intimacy issues within relationships.
