Biography:
David Ward has been teaching Marriage and Family Therapy since 2005. He is the Director of Clinical Training. He maintains a small private practice.

Jane Ryan

Biography:
Jane Ryan is the newest member of the MFT Dept, beginning in June 2008. She has 10 years of Clinical Practice, working with the Juvenile Court Systems and consulting with and training therapists around the country in the Functional Family Therapy Model.

Biography:
Karen Quek, Ph.D is assistant professor and director of clinical training in the marriage and family therapy program. Her research interests are family diversity issues; gender construction in couples; family and community systemic practice; and the therapeutic use of self. As a licensed Marital and Family therapist and an AAMFT approved supervisor, she has extensive clinical and supervisory experiences nationally and internationally. She has been with PLU since 2009.

Charles York

Biography:
Charles York has been a Professor of the Marriage and Family Therapy program at PLU since 1981. He has 27+ years teaching, 30+ years in the practice. Professor York has previously taught at the Family Therapy Institute at Madigan Army Medial Center. He has held the position as Chair of the MFT Advisory Board to the Department of Licensing and served in various other local, state, and national level positions.
